My family and I ate dinner here last night and it was outstanding!! The food was AMAZING and the service was excellent. I had the pulled pork tacos and my husband, a double cheeseburger with fries and a salad. All of the food was fresh and full of flavor. We are thrilled to have a restaurant like this in our area and will be going back often. Go and check it out for yourself - you won't be disappointed!
The building it self is really cool. It has a warm, welcoming, antique feel to it.
This has to be one of my favorite places to eat. From the moment you arrive, the inviting smell from outdoor smoker starts your mouth watering. The "homey" feel of the restaurant, a renovation of grandma's home built in the 1920's, sets the mood for a most pleasurable experience. The menu has a lot of variety with a lot of hometown BBQ favorites.
We came in with a group of nine without a reservation ( not usually my style but we had a few extra people join.) We were greeted warmly and promptly seated. Our service was great and the food was just as great. The Jackson family has done an amazing job from top to bottom on this project. Congratulations to you all. I can't wait to come back and I will be recommending this cafe to anyone who will listen. Best cole slaw ever.
No matter what you decide upon, you will not leave hungry! But may I suggest you leave some room for the bread pudding or pumpkin cheesecake. (At the least, take some home as a treat!) 5 stars!
So friendly, so cozy, so delish! Beautiful woodwork, great service! You feel as though you've been invited to a wonderful, hip country home. But it also feels exclusive and upscale, with very fair menu prices. I love this place.
Awesome! The food was excellent. They have unique dishes as well as traditional BBQ dishes. Good selection of sauces. Make sure you try the Nutty Dog. It sounds strange but you will not be disappointed.
